Before you can decide to enroll your child or children with us, we expect you'll want satisfactory answers to those questions that concern you the most. While we can't know your particular concerns until you tell us directly, we can share with you those questions parents ask us most often.

1. Is Dee Dee's Day Care a licensed child care provider?
Absolutely! We are licensed by the State of New York and operate in full compliance with the regulations,
health and safety standards, and all other applicable laws and certifications pertaining to child day care centers in this state.
2. Do you charge extra if I'm late picking up my child?
A late fee is assessed for every 15-minute increment past the scheduled closing time.
3. What is your policy regarding caring for sick children?
Policies and procedures are outlined in our policy handbook.
4. Do you administer medication to children?
We only administer oral medications upon written instructions from a parent, guardian or physician. We do
not administer injections.
5. What are your hours and are you open on holidays?
We are OPEN:
- Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 6:00pm
We are CLOSED:
- on ALL federal holidays
- the Friday after Thanksgiving Day
- and the Friday after Christmas
(whenever Christmas Day falls on a Thursday)
6. What are the requirements for acceptance into your daycare?
As required by the NYC Dept of Health, Bureau of Daycare:
- Immunization record
- Notarized consent for emergency medical treatment
- Signed authorization for sleeping arrangements
7. What ages do you accept into your daycare?
We accept ages from 6 weeks thru 12 years.
8. Do you have an afterschool program?
We do provide homework assistance. Space is limited.
9. Do you have extended hours?
We can be flexible. Prior arrangements MUST be made.
