Dee Dee's Place
Dee Dee's Day Care is a licensed, in-home, child care facility located in the Carnarsie community of Brooklyn, New York. We provide quality day care and after care for families with pre-school and school-age children.
Our environment is clean, warm, child-friendly, safe, and complies with all the security requirements mandated by the State of New York.
Because we believe that a safe, inviting space is conducive to a young one's creative exploration, learning and happiness, we place a priority on safety and security by making sure that:
- There is adult supervision at all times
- The children's area is bright, cheerful and comfortable
- Harmful objects and products are locked away
- Electrical outlets are covered
- Smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are in working order
- The first aid kit is stocked and always within easy reach
- There are regular drills for evacuations and other emergencies
Dee Dee's Day Care serves as an important supportive link between the work and family lives of our parents. They consider us to be a home away from home for their kids, and every day we strive to keep earning their trust and deliver peace of mind.
Early Childhood Program
It is important to support a child's growth by stimulating the basic need for interaction, affection and learning through discovery and exploration.
We have a structured Early Childhood Program that is age appropriate and can be adjusted to accomodate the particular needs of each child. Children participate in a variety of enrichment activities such as:
- Circle Time
- Movement and Music
- Story Telling
- Reading
- Arts & Crafts
- Games and Puzzles
- Outdoor Activities (weather permitting)
The program encourages healthy development in children by helping them understand the people, objects and challenges in their surroundings, and it allows them to mature at their own pace.
What You Can Expect From Us
Our focus is caring for young children and exposing them to learning situations that help to promote their social, emotional and physical development.
- We offer both full-time and part-time programs to accomodate the different needs parents have.
- All of our contracts are in writing and you can count on us to be courteous and professional at all times.
- We keep you updated on your child's behavior and well being during the day. For babies you are posted on basic ativities such as feeding and diaper changes.
- Your precious loved ones will be taught the necessary basic skills to get them ready for the next learning level.
- We encourage communication with parents so that together we can provide positive reinforcement and support for your children's achievements.
